Mayor's Message

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, an organization that prioritizes the goal of “healthy, natural and clean environment” in all its projects and investments, tries to be the “Exemplary City of Turkey” in conservation of the wild life. While creating new centers of attractions by restoring urban forests, keeping the environment clean with treatment investments, protecting the ecology and integrity of nature and improving this awareness and sensitivity, our municipality supports environment friendly sustainable life with all its might.

Izmir Wildlife Park, a place where the animals live freely in spaces similar to their natural habitats and the visitors enjoy observing them, is an outcome of this primary principle.
